The new Nerja History Museum is located in the top left corner of Plaza de España and was officially inaugurated on March 25th 2011.
The museum traces the history of the town of Nerja from the cave dwellers of Paleolitic times to the tourist boom years of the 196’s.
The exhibits are a mix of information panels and screens and actual objects, including some items from the Nerja Caves.
