Denuncia for discrimination
The chiringuito ‘Garfield’ in Adra has been denounced for discrimination after a number of complaints from ethnic Roma (gypsy) that they were constantly refused entry. Those complaining say that any excuse is given by the management for refusing entry, such as inappropriate clothing, private party etc.
Illegal immigrants rescued off Almería coast
The Marine Rescue Service has rescued 36 sub-Saharan alternative tourists about 14 miles south of Adra, Almería. They had apparently been adrift for some time and it was one of the passengers who used his mobile to contact the authorities.
