The Spanish Airport Authority AENA (Aeropuertos Españoles y Navegación Aérea) has unveiled a plan to curb noise levels, reduce CO2 emissions and save 25,000 tons of fuel, all starting in 2010.
One hour strike by AENA workers
Around 2,500 AENA workers in Sevilla and five other airports in Andalucía have been called upon to support a one hour strike by their unions, the CCOO, UGT and USO.
Judge unhappy about leaks
This video, apparently taken by AENA airport cameras at Madrid’s Barajas airport, shows the attempted take off and subsequent crash of Spanair flight JK 5022, a terrible tragedy in which 154 people lost their lives on August 20th 2008.
