After eight hours of negotiations, ambulance service workers in Cádiz have agreed to suspend planned strike action and the ambulance companies SSGA, Digamar and Ambulancias Barbate have agreed to withdraw disciplinary proceedings. Both sides have agreed to resume dialogue through the arbitration service SERCLA.
Motorcyclist seriously injured after head-on collision with ambulance
A 44 year old motorcyclist is in a serious condition in Torrecárdenas hospital in Almeria after a head-on collision with an ambulance on the A-1000 linking Huétor and Viator. The incident occurred at 00:45 on Saturday morning. The motorcyclist suffered multiple injuries.
Elderly couple killed when ambulance overturned
An elderly married couple from Los Molares, Sevilla, died on Monday morning after the ambulance in which they were travelling overturned on the A-375 from Utrera to Puerto Serrano.
