A court in Jérez de la Frontera has authorised another exhumation of remains relating to a suspected ‘stolen baby’ case, this one dating from 1982.
25 Algerians intercepted off the Almeria coast
A boat carrying 25 Algerians, presumably trying to sneak into Andalucia for the San Isidro celebrations, was intercepted on Tuesday evening about four miles east of Mesa Roldán in the municipality of Carboneras, Almería province. The passengers were taken to the port of Motril where the National Police and Red Cross were on hand to provide further assistance.
Spa and sauna for the elderly of Salares
The municipality of Salares, population 250, will be the first in the Axarquia to have spa and sauna facilities designed and built especially for the elderly residents.

CPI in Andalucia up by 1.5% in April
The Consumer Price Index in Andalucia rose by 1.5% in April due mainly to price rises in the clothing and footwear sector (+10.4%) and drinks and tobacco (+3%).

23 immigrants intercepted off the Almeria coast
Twenty-three people from the Maghreb, including one woman, were intercepted on Tuesday afternoon about 40 miles southeast of Cabo de Gata in Almeria.
Increase in temperatures in the next few days
The Meteorological Office is predicting an overall increase in temperatures in Andalucia over the next few days and by as much as ten degrees, reaching 35 degrees in the Guadalquivir valley between Sevilla and Córdoba.
