The Andalucian economy is expected to contract by 2.5% during 2012 with unemployment rising to 33.5% according to the Economic Analysts of Andalucia, the second biggest drop in GDP since the financial crisis began.
Sierra de Yeguas to pay its debts
The Mayor of Sierra de Yeguas, Miguel Ángel Sánchez (PP), has announced that a total of 905 outstanding invoices to suppliers, relating to the period up to December 2011 and valued at €1,078,000, will be paid under the Royal Decree 4/2012 dated February 23rd 2012 and approved by the Central Government.

Incompatibility issue
The Constitution Tribunal (TC) has decided to admit a challenge brought by the Prime Minister against the amendment of the Electoral Law of Andalucia which established the incompatibility of holding two major positions, such as member of the Andalucian parliament and municipal Mayor or provincial president.
