Axarquia storm damage estimated at €17.2 million

The Junta de Andalucia has estimated the damage to infrastructure and agricultural crops as a result of the recent storma in the Axarquia at €17.2 million. Measures are being introduced to compensate for lost wages and production in the agricultural sector.

Clean-up begining

Today sees the start of clean-up and repair operations for thirty-seven beaches in Andalucia as part of the Emergency Plan agreed between the Central Government and the Junta de Andalucia.
