Eleven women in Andalucía have died so far this year as a result of domestic violence, yet in only one case was a prior abuse complaint made by the victim.
644 immigrants accept ‘return home’ offer
In the first year of operation of the Voluntary Return Plan from the Andalucian Ministry of Employment, a total of 644 immigrants opted to return to their native countries. The figure for Andalucia represents 7.3% of the national total of 8,724 unemployed immigrants who accepted the offer.
Protests in the agricultural sector
Agricultural organisations are hoping that around 30,000 farmers from Andalucia will attend the protest being staged in Madrid tomorrow.
