Nationally, unemployment rose by 171,243 people, an increase of 6% over October, and now means that the total is edging towards the three million mark. One dead and seventeen poisoned by toxic mushrooms

Visitors to Andalucía down by 2.6%

Andalucía has another three solar energy plants, including one in Lucainena de las Torres which becomes the largest such facility in Europa.
ETA plants 3 bombs in Málaga
ETA has detonated two small bombs in Málaga, one in the city itself and one in Benalmádena Marina. A third device, also very low power, was deactivated by the security forces. None of the devices caused any injuries and material damage was minimal.
Free medicines for toddlers as from today
As from today, August 1st 2008, some 95,000 families in Andalucía will benefit from free medicines for children under one year old.
