Eleven arrested for drug trafficking

A joint operation between the Guardia Civil and National Police in Almeria has resulted in the arrest of eleven members of a gang trafficking in drugs and smuggling immigrants into Spain and the seizure of 2.4 tones of hashish.

Thieves caught red-handed

Guardia Civil officers in Fuengirola have arrested three people, all Spanish nationals, after catching them red-handed stealing copper cable and various appliances, including air conditioning units, from a Ministry of Public Works storage facility in the city.

Gang of robbers arrested

National Police have arrested five members of a paramilitary group allegedly responsible for three raids on a shopping mall in Palma de Mallorca as well as other robberies and illegal detentions.

Five arrested for stealing potatoes

Police have arrested five people, all Spanish nationals and residents of Málaga, on suspicion of robbery after they were caught red-handed loading 100 kilos of stolen potatoes into a van at a farm in Vélez-Málaga.

The National Police have dismantled an organisation involved in the sexual exploitation of Paraguayan women in Bilbao, Vitoria, Santander and Pamplona, with eleven people so far arrested.

Two young burglars arrested in Ronda

National Police in Jerez have arrested two people posing as dentists after one of their clients made an official complaint after suffering serious injury as a result of treatment he received. The two people have been charged with causing injury and professional intrusion.

Six arrested in connection with drugs theft

On November 13th 2011, a gang of thieves broke into an official drugs repository and made off with, amongst other things, 120 kilos of cocaine. Now, after a long investigation, six people have so far been arrested in connection with the theft, four in Madrid and two in Málaga.

Big drugs haul in Málaga province

National Police have dismantled a large scale drugs organisation run by Dutch citizens, arresting around twenty people so far and seizing 12,000 cannabis sativa plants after raids at various locations in Torremolinos, Benalmádena, Fuengirola, Mijas, Marbella and Vélez-Málaga.
