Sexual abuse on the streets in Antequera

The National Police in Antequera have received five complaints in the past week from young women who have reported cases of sexual abuse on the streets of the town, the offenders either touching their private parts or their bums. Two youths aged 22 years and 23 years have been arrested, one of them having been caught in the act.

Rural thefts continue

Four men have been arrested in Vélez- Málaga after they stole 180 kilos of chirimoyas (custard apples) from a farm on the Camino de la Igualada. The thieves were spotted by a watchmen and the Local Police intercepted the van full of fruit near the highway.

Olive oil thefts

Operation ‘Olivar’ has resulted in eleven detentions in connection with the theft of 100,000 litres of olive oil from a mill in the town of Purchena, Almería province.
