Three more ETA related arrests

Three people have been arrested for their alleged connection with suspected ETA terrorist Ibai Beobide Arza who was detained on Saturday while out on his bicycle.

Prostitution arrests in Almeria

Another six people have been arrested in Almeria in connection with an ongoing investigation into prostitution and the exploitation of women.

Eight arrested for passport modification

National Police officers have arrested eight members of a network dedicated to the modification of passports of Brazilian prostitutes in order to give them legal status in Spain, the group providing forged stamps in exchange for between €400 and €600. Four of the arrests were in Huelva, two in Valencia, one in Barcelona and one in Castellón,

Two detained in Almeria in connection with rural thefts

Guardia Civil officers in Almeria have arrested two men in connection with at least 30 robberies from farms in the province. The two men stole machinery and other items and then transported them by van to Morocco. Rural thefts in Andalucia, both produce and machinery, have become a great concern for farmers, particularly during the harvest periods.

Cocaine calendars

National Police in Sevilla have arrested four people involved in smuggling cocaine hidden in Andalucian sports calendars and distributing the drug in Sevilla and Málaga provinces.
