The 57 year old man found on fire near his burning car in Málaga on Wednesday has died from his injuries. After initial treatment at the Carlos Haya hospital in Málaga he had been transferred to the Hospital Virgen del Rocío.

At 22:28 on Wednesday evening, police in Málaga were notified of a burning vehicle and after the fire was extinguished they discovered the body of a man in the trunk. The National Police are now trying to ascertain the identity of the victim and the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A team of police and forensic officers has managed to identify a woman whose body was found inside a charred vehicle near a beach in Motril on February 11th. Four distinctive features of the jaw helped the authorities identify the woman as Celia T.R., a native of San Roque but who had been living in Fuenlabrada, Madrid.
