Haul of immigrants and hashish

A total of 19 illegal immigrants, including a young girl, were intercepted in the early hours of this morning along the Cádiz coast. One of the boats was also carrying 173 kilos of hashish. They are the ‘high’ seas after all.

Diesel spill in San Roque affects three beaches

A spillage of diesel oil at the CEPSA refinery in San Roque, Cádiz’, affected three beaches in the area although the Junta de Andalucía described the incident as ‘minor’.

One dead and three injured in gun battle
