Cloudy but dry, not a bad day at all. There were even a few people on the beach!
Puente people…
Quite a few people around today being a ‘puente’, especially in the tapas bars. El Pulguilla, La Taberna, Meson de Julio and La Piqueta were all pretty full throughout the afternoon. There were also quite a few people venturing onto the beaches, although no-one brave enough to take a dip. Hardly surprising.
Sun and wind…
Yesterday was great if you were directly in the sun, but a bit nippy in the shade. Brrr. Not a day for swimming, either. Good day for the old black stuff, though. From Calahonda to Carabeo
It is to be hoped that all the recent talk amounts to something and results in a reopening of the Paseo de Los Carabineros, the former walkway connecting the Balcòn de Europa with Burriana beach. It was closed, or at least parts of it were, some six years ago after bad weather caused rockslides. There have been no further rockslides …
