The Carnival in Torrox is proving to be not without controversy as Councillors take exception to a number of slogans or terms being used by various carnival groups.

Carnival in Antequera is on March 5th, with events starting at 12:00 with a children’s party and fancy dress competition at the Paseo Real.

Burial of the Sardine in Nerja

In case of rain
In the event of rain tomorrow, the Carnival celebrations will move to the marquee in the Plaza de España. The final decision will be taken at 17:00, shortly before the scheduled start of the parade.

Carnival is over…
Carnival is over for another year, the Lazarine sardine has been duly buried and no more celebrations now for a whole five days. Andalucía Day is the next fiesta, February 28th, with the XXI Dia del Pedal, so oil up those cogs in preparation.
