The Council in Cártama has reported the theft of 3,000 metres of cable from the pedestrian walkway between Estación de Cártama and La Aljaima, leaving the area in the dark.

Man arrested for arson in Cártama
Police in Cártama have arrested a 46 year old man who attempted to set fire to the house he shared with his former partner. The man had apparently threatened to set fire to the house if they split up.
Cártama livestock fair
The Cártama livestock fair, one of the oldest in the province, takes place in parallel with the local feria between April 24th and April 26th and, for the second year running, includes an equine competition.
