Valencia are out of the Champions League after a 1-1 draw against Paris Saint-Germain, losing 3-2 on aggregate. On the night, Valencia took the lead in the second half through Jonas but Lavezzi equalised ten minutes later.
Manchester United 1-2 Real Madrid
An exciting game between Manchester United and Real Madrid, one in which always looked like there would be goals. Although a lot of the build-up centred around two players, van Persie and Ronaldo, neither impressed too much, although Ronaldo did score a goal.
AC Milan 2-0 Barcelona
Barcelona completed 674 passes to AC Milan’s 261 in their first leg match on Wednesday night but it was Milan who managed to put the ball in the net, twice. Just goes to show.
FC Porto 1-0 Málaga
FC Porto dominated the first leg of the last sixteen Champions League match against Málaga bur only came away with a slender 1-0 victory. The Blue and Whites, on the other hand, only managed one shot all match.
Real Madrid 1-1 Manchester United
A pulsating Champions League game between Real Madrid and Manchester United ended 1-1, giving United the advantage for the second leg. There were numerous missed chances and some great saves from both keepers.
Málaga draw FC Porto
In the Champions League, Málaga have drawn FC Porto, Real Madrid get Manchester United and Barcelona have to contend with AC Milan.
Madrid 4-1 Ajax
Twice Málaga were pegged back by Anderlecht in the final group match in the Champions League, the game ending 2-2. Málaga were through anyway and won their group, a great debut in the Champions League.
Manchester City 1-1 Real Madrid
All four Spanish clubs are now through to the knockout stages of the Champions League, Real Madrid picking up the necessary one point they needed after a 1-1 draw with Manchester City. Regardless of the outcome of the final round of matches, Real will finish second in the group behind Borussia Dortmund.
Zenit St Petersburg 2-2 Málaga
Two goals in the first ten minutes from Buonanotte and Fernandez gave Málaga a great start against Zenit St Petersburg, but a second half revival and goals from Danny and Faizulin levelled the match and it ended 2-2. Málaga, however, have won the group regardless of the outcome of the final matches.
Valencia 1-1 Bayern Munich
A dogged performance by Valencia saw them draw 1-1 with Bayern Munich, despite being reduced to ten men in the first half when Barragán was ordered from the field after an horrendous tackle.
