A last gasp goal by Wembloom earned CSKA Moscow a draw against Real Madrid in the Champions League after Ronaldo had given Real a first half lead. Real Madrid remain strong favourites to progress to the quarter-finals with the return leg at the Bernabeu on March 14th.

Barcelona totally dominated the first half against Bayer Leverkusen in the first leg of their Champions League match but clear cut chances were few and far between. Just before the break, however, a bit of Messi magic put Alexis through to open the scoring.
