After a great start to the long ‘puente’ weekend, the Sierra Nevada ski resort was forced to close the ski slopes on Monday due to strong gusting winds up to 120 kph.
Gury and Chique
The restaurant Gury in calle Merida is closed and up for sale. Bar Chique in calle Chaparil is reopening under Spanish management. The bar has been closed since the previous British owners apparently adopted the motto: when the going gets tough, the tough do a runner.
The Cottage
The Cottage restaurant on calle Cristo is closed for vacations, reopens on December 21st. They are still, however, taking phone bookings for Christmas Eve and New Year.
