Councillors in Coín are now using taxis as official transport, rather than their own vehicles, in a move aimed primarily, they say, at helping taxi drivers in the municipality.
MA-3033 is open again
The MA-3033 which connects Coín with the road to Mijas and the Costa del Sol via Puerto de los Pescadores is once again open to traffic after having been closed for one year due to roadworks. This coincides with the closure of the A-387 (Alhaurín el Grande) for the next two months due to upcoming roadworks.
