At the ordinary Council meeting held on Friday there were 16 items on the agenda for discussion and one of the resolutions agreed by the spokesmen of all parties was that motions having the support of all parties at the Advisory Committee stage of proceedings should be voted upon without further discussion or intervention.

Friday’s Council meeting saw the PP government withdraw motions listed on the agenda which would have no decisive outcome and are dependent upon action by other administrative bodies for their execution.
