Courses in furniture restoration and organic farming
The Department of Youth is launching more free courses aimed at young people between the ages of 16 and 35 years and who are preferably unemployed.
New courses and workshops for young people
The Youth Department has reported the launch of a number of courses and workshops, including adaptive computing, salsa, natural cosmetics, tango, accounting and economics, advanced photography and drug addiction in adolescents.
Intensive English Language courses
The Department of Education and Youth of Málaga Council, in collaboration with the Open University, will be offering intensive English language courses for young, preferably unemployed, people in the province.
Upcoming courses
The registration period is now open for three courses designed to help people in their search for employment. These are Food Handling, Prevention of Occupational Hazards and Application of Pesticides.
Two free courses organised by the Youth Department
There are two free courses coming up in October, one is the food handling course and the second relates to start-ups and self-employment.
Free courses for young people
The Department of Youth organises a number of free courses throughout the year and one has just finished, eleven participants receiving their diplomas having attended a course on WordPress and web design given by José Antonio Rodríguez.
Summer swimming courses
The indoor swimming pool will be closed during July and August for its annual maintenance. The outdoor, summer pool will, however, be open with a wide variety of classes planned for children between the ages of 6 years and 13 years (seven groups) and for those who use the pool for therapeutic reasons.
