Five dead in collision in Figueres

Five people died and another four were injured, two of them seriously, after a collision between a van and a lorry on the N-II near Figueres, Girona. The seriously injured are currently in the Hospital Josep Trueta in Girona.

Police officer killed in crash

One of those who died in a head-on collision on the A-66 in Salteras, Sevilla, on Tuesday was a police officer. The other driver, who was also killed, was heading in the wrong direction down the road.

Three people were injured on Sunday, one of them seriously, after their hot air balloon crashed near Ferreira, Granada province.

Firemen in Torrox rescue two youths trapped in car

Firemen had to rescue two youths after their car left the road at km 5 on the MA-9012 in Torrox and plummeted 100 metres before coming to rest against a tree. After stabilising the vehicle, firemen extracted the two occupants.

40 car pile-up on the A7 in Málaga

The A-7, direction Cádiz, near the San José tunnel in Málaga had to be closed for short time on Saturday following a pile-up involving forty vehicles.
