A group of tour operators related to the cruise industry visited Nerja at the weekend to learn about the attractions of Nerja as a possible destination for excursions for cruise passengers arriving in Málaga.
Cruising to Málaga
Five cruise ships carrying a total of 10,000 passengers are due to arrive in Málaga tomorrow which should help the local economy. The boats expected, mainly between 12:00 and 13:30, are the “Grandeur of the Seas”, “Empress”, “Aidavita”, “Costa Deliziosa” and the “Arcadia”.
Málaga cruise ships
Five cruise ships are due into Málaga port today, the Wind Spirit, Costa Mediterránea, Silver Cloud, Costa Marina and later this evening the Wind Star.
Cádiz cruise ships
A host of cruise ships are due into Cádiz this week with ten of them having an overlap of three days. Around 200 businesses are planning to stay open 24/7 in order to make the most of this historic event.
Cruise ships heading for Málaga
Around 10,000 passengers and 3,500 crew members from cruise ships are expected to arrive in Málaga port during Semana Santa – Easter Week – Holy Week. In April, a total of 37 cruise ships are expected to arrive in Málaga, three more than during the same month last year.
