Frigiliana Day of the Cross

Monday May 3rd is the traditional Day of the Cross, and around twenty floral decorations will be adorning the streets of the mountain village of Frigiliana. At each and every cross, and these will be in the old and new parts of town, there will be honey, morcilla, chorizo, sweets and, of course, wine on offer.

The fourteen crosses

A total of 14 crosses will be on display on Monday May 3rd, the Day of the Cross, with only one being prepared by children. For those wishing to visit all the crosses, they are located as follows:

Day of the Cross

The Day of the Cross is May 3rd and, as usual, the municipal contribution will be displayed on the Balcon de Europa. The preparation of the municipal cross is the responsibility of a different organisation each year and this time it is in the hands of the Antonio Cortes Fan Club.
