Statistics on divorces, separations and annulments for the year 2009, prepared by the Statistical Institute of Andalucia, show that the number of divorces in the region went down by11.6%.
Nerja Caves visitors 2009
The number of visitors to the Nerja Caves fell by 4% during 2009 to 390,000. As many national monuments suffered double figure decreases, these results are being considered as ‘not bad’ under the circumstances.
Foreign tourist numbers down 10.3% on last year
According to a report by Frontur, some 30 million foreign tourists visited Spain during the first seven months of this year, a fall of 10.3% over the same period last year.
