There were some excellent crosses, as usual, in Nerja for Dia de la Cruz and plenty of tasty nibbles and drink to keep everyone happy. There was even the opportunity to see ‘churros’ being made by hand.
Frigiliana Day of the Cross
The Day of the Cross in Frigiliana was only revived in 1981, having disappeared from the festive calendar as a result of the Civil War, but it has become a very popular and colourful event.
Sixteen crosses registered for Dia de la Cruz
There will be sixteen crosses in the municipality tomorrow for the Day of the Cross with five of them being in the village of Maro.
