According to the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries of the Junta de Andalucia, Clara Aguilera, damage due to the drought is estimated at €650 million and damage due to frost is estimated at €180 million.
End of Axarquia drought decree
The drought decree for the Axarquia will cease to be effective as from April 1st. There are currently 18 municipalities in the Axarquia still under the decree.
