Visitors to El Playazo beach on Sunday afternoon witnessed the sad sight of a dying dolphin stranded close to shore. Attempts were made to get it back into the water but without success and the Local Police were alerted.

Wednesday became a bit overcast as the day progressed, especially over the hills, and down by El Playazo beach it was quite windy, great news for the kite surfers who skimmed across the water at a rate of knots.

Good turnout for fishing competition
Around 60 young people took part in the fishing competition on El Playazo beach on Sunday. The competition was from 10:00 to 13:00 and there were numerous trophies and gifts on offer to the participants.
Two more blue flags
