The Council is asking the provincial delegate of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Environment to establish a line of financial support to allow farmers in Nerja to purchase the necessary machinery to crush and reintegrate agricultural residue back into the soil.
Council requests reduced electricity tariff for farmers
One would suspect that it is highly unlikely to be considered for one moment, but the Council has approved a motion asking the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment to introduce an affordable electricity tariff for farmers and ranchers.

A group of farmers, accompanied by Human Rights Activists, were doing nothing other than tending their crops in Gaza when Israeli forces opened fire. Despite pleas from the group, the shooting continued. This is apparently quite a common occurrence in Gaza, although reporting of such incidents is not widespread.
