A man was taken to hospital in Málaga during the early hours of Monday morning after he was overcome by smoke while trying to smother a fire at his home. The incident occurred at around 01:15 in calle Rafael Andrade Navarrete. The Fire Brigade arrived on the scene and the fire was extinguished by 02:00.
