For the second year running, Nerja Council and the Nerja Caves Foundation will have its own stand at the FITUR Tourism Fair in Madrid, to be held from January 28th 20 February 1st 2015 at the IFEMA in the capital.
Nerja will revert to having its own stand at the next FITUR tourism fair, a move apparently prompted by requests from tourism-related businesses in the town. The Nerja Caves Foundation will also have a stand at the fair.
In a break with tradition, the presentation of the programme for the 54th International Festival of Music and Dance at the Nerja Caves will take place in Madrid on Thursday as part of the FITUR tourism fair.
The Municipal Council for Tourism, involving all parties, has been meeting to discuss a number of issues concerning Nerja, such as the development of El Playazo and participation in the FITUR tourism exhibition.
The FITUR tourism fair is underway in Madrid and continues until Sunday, with 11,000 businesses from 170 countries taking part.
