A good night for Spanish teams on Thursday with three progressing to the semi-finals of the Europa League, the fourth team being Sporting Lisbon from neighbouring Portugal.

A fairly comfortable trip into the semi-finals of the Champions League for Real Madrid with a 5-2 win on the night, 8-2 on aggregate against Apoel Nicosia.
Barcelona 3-1 AC Milan
Two penalties from Messi and a goal by Iniesta saw Barcelona through to the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Sevilla 3-1 Mallorca
Sevilla are now only just outside the top six after a 3-1 win over Mallorca on Monday night, all the goals coming in the second half. Negredo, Manu del Moral and Jesús Navas were on target for the home side, Hemed scoring the only goal for the islanders.
Valencia 1-1 Levante
Both Valencia and Levante failed to capitalise on Málaga’s defeat on Saturday as they drew 1-1. Valencia would have been looking to put a bit of daylight between themselves and the Blue and Whites and Levante would have been looking to retake fourth place.
