Oh dear. The Blue and Whites reverted to their old ways, losing 3-0 to Deportivo La Coruña on Sunday evening. Adrián, from the penalty spot after 22 minutes, Colotto and Álvarez did the damage and Málaga find themselves back in the danger zone.
Real Madrid 4-1 Athletic Bilbao
Real Madrid played host to an Athletic Bilbao team which had conceded four goals in each of their last two away games. Despite a spirited performance, however, Athletic made it three in a row, losing the match 4-1.
Good win for Barcelona
Barcelona just edged it on their trip to Almeria on Saturday evening. Messi opened the scoring after fifteen minutes and Iniesta added a second just three minutes later.

Osasuna were awarded a penalty in the second minute of their game against Málaga, and after Nekounam converted the opportunity into a goal, the home side never looked back, finally winning 3-0 with the other goals coming from Masoud and Aranda.
