Five illegal immirants were discovered on Friday evening in a container on the Danish ship Alexander Maersk after it docked in Algeciras. The ship had arrived from Cartagena, Murcia. The five men were weak from severe dehydration but did not need hospital treatment. They are now guests of the National Police.

Illegals arrive off Granada coast

Guardia Civil and Marine Rescue have intercepted a boat carrying illegal immigrants off the coast of Granada. On board were 35 passengers, including one who had died en route. The surviving passengers were apparently in good health, despite having been drifting for some time.

Two bodies and hashish in a boat

A routine patrol on the beach in Sotogrande led Guardia Civil officers to the discovery of a large amount of hashish and two dead bodies. The officers spotted a Moroccan man who was displaying all the signs of hyperthermia and, thinking he might have just arrived via illegal means, they began a search of the area.
