A 25 year old worker died in the early hours of this morning at the commercial centre Vialia in Málaga. The man was working on an electrical panel when, at around 03:15, he received an electric shock which caused him to fall to his death.

A 20 year old youth has become the first industrial fatality of the new year in Andalucía after an accident an an industrial estate in Dos Hermanas, Sevilla. The youth was working at the Supermercados Día warehouse on La Isla industrial estate when a lifting machine fell and crushed him. The Emergency Services could do nothing to revive him.

A 29 year old worker died yesterday afternoon after falling from the second floor of a building in Málaga. The man, an employee of a lift installation company, was working on a new building in calle Toquero in the Fuente Olletas district when the accident occurred.
Industrial fatality in Jaén
An agricultural worker died yesterday afternoon near Torredonjimeno, Jaén, after apparently falling from his tractor onto the ploughing machine he was using. A local resident notified the police that they had seen a man lying next to his tractor but when they arrived on the scene the man was already dead. The Labour Inspectorate are investigating the accident.

A 35 year old man died yesterday after receiving an electric shock while working on a building on the carretera de Cúllar in Caniles, Granada. The incident occurred at around 15:00, the reasons for which are not known at the present time.
Industrial fatality in Huelva
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man who was working on a finca not far from the Hospital Vázquez Díaz in Huelva. The man was operating a ‘mulilla’ – a mule-powered ploughshare – when an accident occurred and he received a severe cut to the leg.
