Barcelona seemingly took out all of their frustrations on Rayo Vallecano on Sunday night, winning 0-7 with goals from Messi (2), Pedro (2), Thiago, Keita and an own goal from Rober.
Málaga 1-0 Valencia
A first half goal from Camacho was enough to see Málaga regain fourth place, level on points with their opponents today, Valencia.
Real Madrid 3-0 Sevilla
The corpulently challenged lady is warming up her vocal cords after Real Madrid beat Sevilla 3-0 on Sunday and are now just a whisker away from their first La Liga title since 2008. Ronaldo and Benzema with two were the scorers.
Levante 3-1 Granada
Levante are up to fourth place in La Liga after a 3-1 win against Granada, one point ahead of Málaga who play Valencia on Sunday in what could be a crunch match for third place.
Osasuna 1-1 Málaga
Málaga remain in fourth place in La Liga, now three points behind Valencia, after a 1-1 draw at Osasuna. Nino put the home side ahead in the 53rd minute but a 67th minute stunner from Cazorla rescued a point for the Blue and Whites.
Valencia 4-0 Real Betis
Valencia have moved four points clear in third place after a 4-0 win against Real Betis who, by the end of the match, were down to nine men.
Barcelona 1-2 Real Madrid
Goals from Khedira and Cristiano Ronaldo were enough to see Real Madrid win the latest ‘Clasico’, and surely now La Liga.
Málaga 1-1 Real Sociedad
A 19th minute goal from Isco gave the Blue and Whites a great start against Real Sociedad at La Rosaleda but it all finished in a 1-1 draw after Prieto equalised just after the restart. Málaga remain in fourth place, two points behind Valencia who were hammered by Espanyol.
Top two struggle but emerge victorious
Wins for the top two in La Liga but far from convincing performances, Real coming from behind against struggling Sporting Gijón and Barcelona scraping past Levante thanks to an extremely dodgy penalty decision.
Villarreal 2-1 Málaga
Málaga took the lead against Villarreal in the 65th minute thanks to Cazorla but a penalty converted by Senna and 90th minute strike by Peréz saw the home side claim victory. That means Málaga remain in fourth place, two points behind Valencia and two points ahead of Levante.
