Osasuna 3-2 Barcelona

Although it is never over until the woman of substance vocalises, a win for Real Madrid on Sunday could see them move ten points clear in La Liga after Barcelona failed to win on their visit to Osasuna on Saturday evening.

Granada 2-1 Málaga

A great chance to move back up into the European slots and Málaga managed to come away from Granada with nothing, losing 2-1. Ighalo and López were the scorers for the home side, Rondón getting one for the Blue and Whites.

Top two march on

No change at the top as both Real and Barcelona managed to win their matches on Saturday evening.

Málaga 2-1 Sevilla

A good and much needed win for Málaga on Sunday, a 2-1 victory over fierce rivals Sevilla with, as usual, the referee getting a lot of writing practice.

Real Madrid now seven points clear

Real Madrid are now seven points clear of rivals Barcelona at the top of La Liga after coming from behind to beat bottom club Zaragoza 3-1 on Saturday evening.

Real Madrid 4-1 Athletic Bilbao

Real Madrid moved back to a five point lead at the top of the table on Sunday night after a 4-1 win against Athletic Bilbao.

Málaga 1-4 Barcelona

Málaga were no match for Lionel Messi as the Barcelona forward bagged his fifth hat-trick of the season to give the Catalans an easy 1-4 win at La Rosaleda. Sanchez scored Barcelona’s other goal and Rondón got his name on the scoresheet late on for the Blue and Whites.

Betis 1-1 Sevilla

Espanyol have moved up to fifth in La Liga pending Sunday’s matches with a 3-0 win over Granada, Raúl Baena, Verdú with a penalty and Rui Fonte the scorers.

Barcelona 4-2 Real Betis

Sporting Gijón were too strong for Málaga on the day and emerged victorious, winning 2-1 at the Estadio El Molinón.

Mallorca 1-2 Real Madrid

Real Madrid came from a goal down to beat Mallorca 1-2 on Saturday night and, at least temporarily, increased their lead over Barcelona at the top of La Liga to eight points.
