Two late goals, an 80th minute penalty from Baptista and a stoppage time strike from Rondón, salvaged a point for Málaga against visiting Getafe, the final score 2-2.
Barcelona’s winning streak ends
Barcelona’s run of wins came to an end on Saturday after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Sporting Gijón. Barral gave Sporting the lead in the first half and then later on, David Villa grabbed the equaliser. Barcelona are still eight points clear at the top of La Liga pending Sunday’s games.
Sevilla 0-0 Málaga
The Blue and Whites played out a 0-0 draw against fierce rivals Sevilla, a result which still leaves them firmly rooted to the bottom of La Liga.

Barcelona made it an all-time record on Saturday with their sixteenth consecutive win of the season in La Liga, yet another Lionel Messi hat trick sealing a 3-0 victory against Atletico Madrid.
Osasuna 1-0 Real Madrid
It may only be Real Madrid’s second defeat of the season, but their 0-1 loss to Osasuna could be a significant one as Barcelona are now seven points clear at the top of La Liga.

The Blue and Whites are now propping up La Liga after converting an early lead into a defeat against visiting Zaragoza.

Real Madrid remain four points behind Barcelona in La Liga after scraping through against Mallorca 1-0 on Sunday evening, Benzema getting the only goal of the match after about an hour.
Valencia 4-3 Málaga
Despite playing most of the match with ten men and the last twenty-six minutes with only nine, it wasn’t until the very end that Málaga lost a pulsating encounter with Valencia.
