Stopped off in La Marina in Plaza La Marina, Nerja, for a quick tapas, excellent as usual. I had a large plate of gambas and a beer, good value at €1.40. Always a popular haunt at lunchtimes and one of the best fish restaurants in town.

Quite a plate of gambas as a tapa at La Marina in Plaza Marina, Nerja, at least twenty. And a caña and a tapa is still only €1.40. Definitely one of the top tapas bars for fish in Nerja.

Finding a space at the (large) bar in La Marina in Plaza La Marina on Saturday lunchtime was not easy, but where there is a will there’s a way, and I eventually managed to squeeze in next to a narrow ledge occupied by a vase of plastic flowers. The flowers just had to go.
