Sixteen people have been arrested in Málaga in connection with a series of robberies in the capital and the surrounding area. All the detainees are aged between 20 years and 30 years old.

Armed robber arrested in Málaga
Local Police officers in Málaga have arrested a man in connection with an armed robbery at a supermarket in calle Tomás Escaloñilla. Twenty-three year old José María R.V., a local resident, is allegedly one of two people involved in the supermarket robbery. He has been handed over to the National Police who are now investigating the crime.

Speedy help for uninsured tornado victims
The Junta de Andalucía has announced immediate’ help to those who were affected by the recent tornado but were not covered by insurance. This particularly affects those in the San Andrés area of Málaga. A total of €600,000 has been made available for repairs to damaged houses, particularly rooves. Of 59 communities in San Andrés, 15 were not insured.
