The former mayor of Marbella, Julian Muñoz, walked out of prison yesterday evening after being granted ‘third grade’ status. The change in status means Muñoz, one of several former mayors and officials involved in the ´Malaya’ corruption scandal, can leave the prison each morning and only has to return at night from Monday to Thursday.
