Mijas Council has received authorisation to increase the number of plain clothes officers in the municipality and as a result, another 29 such officers will now be patrolling the streets.
Uniforms for Mijas donkey taxi operators

Mijas proposing community service deal for young offenders
Mijas Council is proposing to allow people between the ages of 14 years and 29 years who have been sanctioned for violating municipal ordinances to reduce their fines by 50% by performing community service or attending lectures and courses. Offenders will have 15 days after notification of a sanction to participate.
