Over 100 Spanish fishing vessels are on their way back to port following the decision by the EU not to renew the fishing agreement with Morocco. The Spanish authorities requested the boats to leave Moroccan waters by midnight on Wednesday in order to avoid any possible conflict.
EU set to order cessation of fishing in Moroccan waters
The European Commissioner for Fisheries, Maria Damanaki, is expected tomorrow to request that all EU vessels, most of which are Spanish, cease fishing activities in Moroccan waters.

Crafts Fair in Ronda
The Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos de Santo Domingo in Ronda is hosting a crafts fair from April 29th to May 1st featuring traditional crafts of Andalucia and Morocco. The fair will move to San Nicolás del Puerto (Sevilla) in May and to Tangier in June.
