World champion Jorge Lorenzo won a wet, incident-packed Spanish Moto GP in Jerez, eventually finishing 19 seconds ahead of second-placed Dani Pedrosa and with Nicky Hayden third.

Saturday, the second day of the Spanish Moto GP weekend in Jerez, resulted in a further nine injuries due to motoring accidents although none of the injuries were classified as serious. At the track area, a total of 74 people have so far been treated for minor abrasions, bites, dizziness, sore throats and similar ailments.
