The plenary session of the Nerja Caves Foundation has approved the audit of the accounts for 2012, with a small surplus of €36,057.71. In 2011, the Foundation registered a loss of €193,164.20.
New plants for the Nerja Caves tropical garden
The tropical garden in the grounds of the Nerja Caves has been refreshed with new plants and students from the Centro Específico de Educación Especial Santa Rosa de Lima in Málaga have made the identification labels. The tropical garden was opened on November 13th 1997.
