A group of geography students from Royal Holloway, University Of London are currently visiting Nerja as part of their first year course. This is an annual event, now in its tenth year, with Nerja being one of the destinations offered to students along with New York, Kenya, Ireland and various parts of the UK.

Council request clean-up of unauthorised rubbish tip
The Council has approved a motion to request the General Secretariat for Integral Management of the Environment and Water of the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, dependencies of the Junta de Andalucia, to clean up an unauthorised rubbish dump on the border of Nerja and Frigiliana.
Local swimmers qualify for winter championships
