The decorations are going up in calle Antonio Millón and Plaza Tutti Frutti ready for the start of Feria tomorrow night. The area should be buzzing during the daytime as from Thursday.
Anniversary celebration held in Nerja
The Colegio de Gestores Administrativos de Málaga – College of Administrative Managers of Malaga – celebrated San Cayetano Day in Nerja, an act which coincided with the 60th anniversary of the institution.

The VI Boat Fishing Contest took place at the weekend with 16 vessels and 70 people participating.

According to the Council, around 1,000 people took part in the 57th Carrera Urbana Feria de Nerja and the 29th Trofeo de Marcha Atlética Villa de Nerja held on Sunday. The start and finish of all races was the Balcón de Europa,
Après Carrera tapas at El Barrio
Happy to report that Cafe El Barrio, in calle El Barrio, Nerja, is still producing good tapas and at a reasonable price, €1.50 for a beer and a tapa. Very relaxing place. On this occasion I had a sweet and sour pork tapa, very tender meat.
Mojito at Sarah’s and Manolo’s
Sarah’s and Manolo’s on avenida Mediterraneo, Nerja, is a great, friendly little bar with a nice street terrace at the front. Not as daft as it sounds, some places do have rear terraces.
