Mobile MOT unit in Nerja during October and November
The mobile ITV (MOT) unit will be in Nerja on October 28th, 29th and 30th and also on November 19th and 20th, the location being the market site in Almijara II.
Bridge closed for essential repairs
As from today, the Puente Viejo (the cobbled bridge into Nerja from the direction of Torrox) is closed to traffic due to a ruptured collector and subsequent damage being caused to the pavement by residual waters.

Victory for local athletes in Málaga
Abdeladhi el Mouaziz and Esther Hidalgo, both members of the Club Nerja de Atletismo-Cueva de Nerja-UMA, were the victors in the 39th Carrera Urbana held in Málaga city at the weekend.
Reduction in overtime payments to the Local Police
Savings totalling €29,385 were made during the summer with respect to overtime payments to Local Police officers, according to the Council.

More unrest on the political scene
EVA-Podemos has now waded in to the party political rows currently boiling away under the surface at the Town Hall, criticising all the other parties.
Exhibition by Axarteismo 7
There is an exhibition of paintings by the association Axarteismo 7 at the Sala Mercado in Plaza de la Ermita, Nerja, from now until November 4th 2015.
